The Planning Board receives and acts upon site plan approval requests, special permit requests, and subdivision applications. Planning Board members commit to a 7-year term beginning in January in the year following the appointment (e.g., if appointed in December 2024, the appointee will begin their term on January 1, 2025 and end their term on December 31, 2032). This position’s term is through December 2030. While serving on the Planning Board, members are expected to attend meetings once a month, generally on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7pm at the Danby Town Hall.
