West Danby Water District Monthly Meeting

The regular monthly meeting of the West Danby Water District is Wednesday, July 1 at 5pm.

The meeting is held on the first Wednesday of every month at the West Danby Fire Station, Sylvan Lane, West Danby.

This month’s agenda :

1.  Discussion with Bryan White from Hunt – many unanswered points need covered, two main ones-

                A. We still do not know the life expectancy of the existing pipe. This has been our main question since the beginning, and we still have no answer. We were given very expensive suggestions on how to upgrade the water lines but not what might our projected usage left in them.

              B. replacing 6″ main with 8″ ductile – can this create stagnant water issues in the system.

2.  Pleasant Valley Electric had to be called, expect a bill. Scott will explain

3. Chlorine agitator repairs

4. Discuss hiring a company to power wash the water storage tank

5. Brush hog the driveway up to the storage tank.

6. Vouchers

7. Hydrant flushing in June and just again on 6/29
