Ever wonder if someone is looking out for our streams and lakes? Or if there is a Harmful Algal Bloom in your favorite kayaking spot?  Do you have questions about how to care for your water well? Or where to get your well water tested?

The Conservation Advisory Council (Danby CAC) invites you to attend a presentation by Grascen Shidemantle, PhD, Executive Director of the Community Science Institute on Tuesday April 8th at 7 pm at the Danby Town Hall.


She will talk about CSI’s mission and services; their certified water testing lab; their open database with data collected over several decades on local waters from various CSI projects; and about a new collaboration with Trout Unlimited to assess and possibly remediate and stock several headwater streams in Danby with native Brook trout.  CSI is looking for volunteers to help with this project.There will be time for questions. Please join us.
