COVID-19 Self Test Kits and KN95 Masks at Town Hall

The Town of Danby has received a limited number of COVID self-test kits along with 500 KN95 masks from the Health Department.

The kits and masks are available on a first-come, first-served basis with a limit of 1 kit and 1 mask per person.

We wish to prioritize distributing both kits and masks to those who are most susceptible to COVID-19, the elderly and the immune-compromised population.

A small number of kits and masks are on the table in the foyer for individuals to take on an honor system while Town Hall is open (Mon-Fri 8:30pm through 5:00pm). The Town Clerk’s Office is staffed from 11:00am until 6:00pm should you need further assistance.

The Town of Danby sits on the traditional & ancestral land of the Gayogoho:no’ (Cayuga Nation), one of the five nations to first form the Haudenosaunee. Indigenous peoples were largely forced out of Upstate New York by the Sullivan-Clinton Expedition in 1779. The land that would become the Town of Danby was a part of the Watkins and Flint Purchase, a 336,380 acre patent granted by New York State to numerous eastern investors in 1794.
