Supervisor Gagnon explains how the noise issue is resurfacing this year: “Last fall, Warren Cross, a Cornellian with relevant expertise in acoustics, agreed to undertake a review of how the noise issue has been handled by others. What works and what does not? His report to the Town Board was expected in late 2022. He and I agreed that bringing the matter up during the holiday period was not a good idea, though. “Rather than try to convey the huge diversity of ways this has been dealt with along with what worked and did not, Warren instead offered a draft noise law based on his conclusions. That was sent to the Town Board around the time of the first meeting in March and was to be the basis for a dialog with Warren at the second meeting on March 22.
